A Wooded Lake Front Development
The Wilderness, widely acknowledged to be the premier development on Richland Chambers Reservoir, is a gated community including approximately 440 acres situated on the south side of the lake. This most desirable area consists of heavily wooded hills rolling to the water's edge.

The Wilderness is located approximately one hour south of downtown Dallas near Corsicana just off Interstate 45. Direct access to the development is afforded by FM 416.

Begun in 1996, this highly successful community has well maintained roads, security gates, underground utilities and deed restrictions which protect and add value to the property. Wildlife within the development is protected and roams the property in abundance.

At present, more than 65 custom homes have been constructed and there are a number of homes currently under construction. Approximately 50% are occupied by permanent residents and approximately 50% serve as weekend or second homes.

Tarrant County Regional Water permits property owners to own land to the waters edge and to build private seawalls, shoreline walkways and boathouses to regulated guidelines.
